On August 28, the release ceremony for the 2019 Top 500 Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises in China and the “Enhance and Upgrade” China Chemical Industry Development Summit Forum were held in Anda, Heilongjiang. The 2019 ranking of China’s top 500 petroleum and chemical enterprises was released at the event. Shandong Hongda Bio (Group) Technology Co., Ltd. ranked No. 226 among the top 500.
In his address, Zeng Jian, an adviser to the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, said that the enterprises on the China Top 500 list are the leaders of the industry. They play a vital role in promoting industrial restructuring, facilitating economic transformation and upgrading, and improving the quality of economic development. Standing at a new starting point, he hoped that the Top 500 enterprises would seize opportunities, meet challenges, move with the times, and stay firmly on the path of innovation and transformation. By further improving the quality of enterprises and the industry, they can help China become a true petroleum and chemical powerhouse.
Founded in 2004, Shandong Hongda Bio (Group) Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise that uses dried sweet potato as its raw material to produce ethanol and downstream products. The company has more than 3,000 employees and an annual comprehensive production capacity of one million tonnes.
